Andrea (born Teodora Rumenova Andreeva)was born on January 23, 1987.She is a Bulgarian pop-folk singer best known by her stage name, Andrea (Bulgarian: Андреа).[1] She and the Romanian singer Costi Ionita have also performed and released music as Sahara.[2]

Her first steps in her musical career with the help of her producer Lusi Ilarionov. Her first song “Like A Stranger” was released in June 2006 and her pilot video one month later. In March 2008 Andrea released her first album Fire in blood. In August of the same year she sang a duet Only mine (Samo Moi) with the Romanian star Costi Ionita and the song became an absolute hit of the summer. Then they started to work together and released many hits, like the duets I Choose You (Izbiram Teb), Used Up (Upotrebena), Ungrateful (Neblagodaren), I’m Lying to Him With You (Luja Go S Teb), and Lover (Lubovnik). Also, Costi is the composer of Andrea’s other best hits like You’ve Been Looking For Me (Men Si Tursil), Give Me Everything (Vsichko Mi Dai), Come On (Haide Opa), Lie To Me (Izlaji Me) and many others included on her albums You've Been Looking For Me (released in October 2009) and Andrea (released in December 2010). These songs are produced for the Bulgarian and Balkan public. Андреа & Costi are working together in a project called Sahara and make modern dance music for European and International audiences. Some of their tracks are in collaboration with great world music stars including Bob Sinclar, Shaggy, and Mario Winans.
She has released three albums on the Payner label in Bulgaria.[3]
In June 2008, she appeared on the cover and in a feature in the Bulgarian edition of Playboy.[4]
In 2009, as part of Sahara she recorded a single called Bellezza with Geo Da Silva.[5] She appears as part of Sahara in the 2010 song and video for DJ Bob Sinclar's song I Wanna, also featuring Shaggy.[6]
At the start of her career, Andrea was offered a solo recording contract, but declined.
In 2011 she expanded some of her music to America such as Mine ft. Mario Winas, and Champagne ft. Shaggy. Now she is working on several new songs , some that are released this year is "Na Eks" featuring Bulgarian opera singer "Kristal". She is preparing to release her new song by Mid July 2011, "Dokrai". Andrea has just released a song with Bulgarian singer Boris Soltariiski called, "Predai Se", this Fall. The video was released in late September. .
